Congratulations 13U Eagles!

The 13u Tier 1 Eagles took part in the AAA Eliminations tournament over the weekend which is a 28 team (AAA only) double knockout tournament where the winner represents the province as Team Ontario at Nationals in August. The tourney started off tough with a hard fought 3-0 loss to Whitby. Playing in sudden death games the rest of the way the Eagles successively eliminated Hamilton, Windsor, Thornhill and Burlington.

Our Sunday afternoon match-up with Waterloo would decide who played undefeated Whitby in the final and unfortunately we came up short.

While it was a hard finish to an amazing weekend the boys should be immensely proud of not only how they played but how well they represented Halton Hills Minor Baseball.

Third place in the premier event in Ontario for 13u baseball is an incredible accomplishment.
