Hello HHMBA Families and Coaches,
It has been brought to the association's attention by community business owners, that participants and visiting teams are parking in the designated business parking area, closest to Diamond 1 at Glen Williams. That parking area is for business customers only and NOT to be utilized by any baseball participants. There is a designated parking lot in between Diamonds 1 and 2, as well as road side parking during game and practice times.
If you notice visiting teams and other participants parking there, please advise them to move their vehicle, as the business owners will start taking the necessary action they feel is required to keep the lot available for their customers.
Thank you,
Halton Hills Minor Baseball Association

Good morning HHMBA House League families and coaches,
As we continue through the baseball season, we would like to remind all players and parents that House League Baseball is about learning, having fun, building friendships, and developing a love for the game.
Good sportsmanship is expected from everyone involved. Players should treat teammates, opponents, coaches, umpires, and volunteers with respect at all times. Parents and spectators are also expected to model positive behaviour from the stands and support all participants in a respectful manner.
There is no place at the ballpark for abusive language, arguing with umpires, negative comments toward players, coaches, or other families, or any behaviour that takes away from the positive experience we strive to provide for our children.
Our volunteers, coaches, and umpires dedicate countless hours to make this program possible. We ask that everyone show appreciation for their efforts and remember that mistakes are part of the game for players, coaches, and officials alike.
Let’s work together to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels supported, respected, and excited to come to the ballpark.
Thank you for helping make our baseball community a positive experience for all.
Sincerely,
Halton Hills Minor Baseball Association

ANSWERS TO FAQ & NOTES:
-
Please arrive 15 minutes early to get organized with your team. You'll wait just outside the building until called in by the studio.
-
Photos take roughly 10-15 minutes per team. Once your player is done with the photographer, you are free to leave and enjoy the rest of your day!
-
Photos are individually taken and the studio photoshops everyone into a team position.
-
You will not get "proofs" of the photos prior to ordering any additional packages. Ordering extra packages must be placed on Photo Day. This is not like school photos. We are using the same company as last year, so for those who received pictures last year, you can see the amazing quality they provide.
-
if your player cannot make it during their respective time slot, you cannot come at another time during the day that suits you better. This is how studios fall behind in schedule and these folks are great at keeping to the schedule as posted.
-
We have a lot of players this season and it is impossible to accommodate everyone's schedule. The Make-up date above is the only other day to get photos taken. We cannot move the dates or times as currently set. The Schedule is FIRM.
-
If you do not attend photo day or the make-up day, you will not receive a team photo.
Should you have any questions that are not answered above, please reach out to Janine Dobson at

Thank you,

Hello HHMBA House League Families,
The volunteer board of directors hope you're as excited as we are for the season ahead!
We wanted to share an update on house league team assignments, coaches, and uniforms.
As you may have already seen, teams have been built and shared with the majority of our divisions (please see below for an update about 15U and 18U). We're very happy with how they've come together so far.
That said, please note that assignments are subject to change, particularly at the 11U level.
Going forward, roster changes will only be made to accommodate coaching needs and to balance the teams.
We are still working on filling a few coaching spots, and any families affected by a resulting roster adjustment will be notified directly through the RAMP Team App as soon as possible.
Need help with the RAMP Team App? Check out our FAQs: https://www.hhmba.ca/content/ramp-team-app-faqs (Make sure you are signing in with the same email address you registered your child with!)
We are also actively looking for volunteer coaches for our 11U, 13U, and 15U divisions.
If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, please reach out to Laurissa at laurissa.wakefield@hhmba.ca
We would love to hear from you!
On the schedule front, we are currently waiting on Milton to release their schedule before we can finalize the 15U schedule. For our 18U families, we expect the schedule to be released by the end of the day.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we put the finishing touches on our teams and coaching lineup. Our goal is to get every team set up for a great season, and we're almost there!
IMPORTANT: Today's uniform pick-up is for COACHES ONLY. You will hear from your child's coach for how to receive their uniform (e.g., at the first practice, at a meeting spot).
Thank you and enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Halton Hills Minor Baseball Association

Putting together a season of this scale takes an enormous amount of effort, and none of it would be possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteer board. These individuals have spent countless hours - evenings, weekends, and everything in between - on registration, scheduling, field coordination, uniforms, communications, and so much more. We are grateful for their commitment to this community, and we thank you, our families, for your patience as everything came together.
We look forward to a wonderful season ahead.
See you on the diamonds!

March 31, 2026As we get closer to the start of the 2026 season, the Board of Directors wanted to give you a behind the scenes look at how we put House League teams together. Our volunteers (Board of Directors) put a tremendous amount of work into this process and we want to make sure every family knows what to expect.
• Siblings in the same division are always placed together. This is a guarantee, not a best effort.
• Friend requests are honoured whenever possible. This season, we were able to accommodate over 90% of friend requests across all divisions. The small number we could not fulfill were cases where honouring the request would have created a significantly unbalanced team, or where the requested player was not registered in the same division.
• Teams are balanced by experience, so every team gets a fair mix of returning and new players. This keeps the season fun and competitive for everyone.
• Coach preferences and transportation needs are also factored in wherever we can.
• Submit friend requests through RAMP during registration, not by separate email. This ensures nothing gets lost.
• Double check that the friend your child is requesting is registered in the same age group. A surprising number of requests each year name players who are not registered or are in a different division, and there is nothing we can do with those.
• One or two specific friend requests give us the best chance of success. Large group requests are much harder to accommodate.
We take this process seriously and are always working to make it better. Thanks for trusting us with your kids' season!
